Transfer fees are waived when you purchase a new firearm directly from BT Gun Company and pick it up in person.

What to Bring
Bring a valid Wisconsin ID showing your current address. Handgun buyers must be at least 21 and complete a Wisconsin DOJ background check. Long gun buyers must be at least 18 and complete a NICS background check. There is no waiting period on instant approvals.

In addition to transfers, BT Gun Company offers gun cleaning, bore sighting, custom firearm builds and firearm consignment for customers who want the company to sell a firearm on their behalf. Gunsmithing includes light repairs on most rifles, handguns and shotguns. Rebluing and restoration are not offered.

Once the transfer is confirmed and the required paperwork is received, BT Gun Company typically ships within 1-3 business days after payment.
Federal law requires firearms purchased online to ship to an FFL dealer rather than directly to your home. You will complete the required background check with that dealer before taking possession. Beaver Dam area customers may also arrange an appointment for local pickup and transfer through BT Gun Company.
