BT Gun Company serves firearm owners in Delafield and the Waukesha County area. We are a family-owned, licensed FFL dealer based in Rubicon, Wisconsin. Local firearm transfers, cleaning, gunsmithing and other services are available by appointment only. Our online catalog also ships nationwide except to Hawaii and Alaska.

FFL Transfer Pricing

• Long gun or lower receiver: $25
• Handgun: $35, including the Wisconsin state fee
• Handgun and long gun together: $35 when processed on one background check
• Each additional firearm: $5 on the same background check

Transfer fees are waived when you purchase a new firearm directly from BT Gun Company and pick it up in person.

To have a firearm shipped to us for transfer, send the seller a copy of our FFL. Then email [email protected] or call (262) 457-9048 to schedule an appointment. We will call you when the firearm arrives.

Local Firearm Services by Appointment

In addition to FFL transfers, BT Gun Company provides gun cleaning, bore sighting, custom firearm builds and firearm consignment for customers who want us to sell a firearm on their behalf. Light gunsmithing repairs are available for most rifles, handguns and shotguns. We do not offer rebluing or restoration.

Buying Firearms Online

When ordering from our catalog, choose a local FFL dealer at checkout or use the website’s FFL lookup. You may also have your chosen dealer email a copy of its license to [email protected]. We confirm the transfer and ship the firearm to that dealer for pickup. Orders typically ship within 1–3 business days after payment and the required FFL documentation are received.

Federal law requires firearms purchased online to be shipped to a licensed FFL dealer rather than directly to your home. You will complete the required background check with the receiving dealer before taking possession.

For a local transfer, bring a valid Wisconsin ID showing your current address. Handgun buyers must be 21 or older and complete a Wisconsin DOJ background check. Long gun buyers must be 18 or older and complete a NICS background check. There is no waiting period on instant approvals.
