AI Gun Finder

It is a free search tool on btgunco.com. You describe what you want in plain English, such as “compact 9mm for concealed carry under $500”, and it searches BT Gun Company’s live inventory and shows matching products with links, prices and stock status.

An AI gun finder reads your request the way a person would and pulls out the details that matter: the type of firearm or product, caliber, budget, brand and how you plan to use it. It then searches the store’s real product catalog for matches and writes a short answer that explains why they fit. At BT Gun Company the results come from our own live inventory, so every product it suggests links to a real listing you can buy.

Start with how the gun fits your hand: you should be able to reach the trigger with the pad of your finger while holding the grip firmly, and reach the magazine release and safety without shifting your grip. Smaller hands often do better with a slimmer grip or a compact frame, while larger hands usually prefer a full-size frame with more grip to hold. Many modern handguns come with interchangeable backstraps or grip panels that adjust the fit. Tell the AI Gun Finder your caliber, budget, what the gun is for and that you want a smaller or larger grip, and it will suggest handguns to look at. Handle a gun before you buy it whenever you can, and call us at (262) 457-9048 to set up an appointment.

It is free. You need a free BT Gun Company account with a verified email address. Create an account or sign in from My Account, click the verification link we email you, and the finder unlocks.

Include as many of these as you know: what you want it for (home defense, hunting, concealed carry, range), the type of firearm or product, the caliber, your budget and any brand you prefer. For example: “bolt-action rifle in 6.5 Creedmoor under $900” or “box of 9mm ammo for the range”. You can also ask follow-up questions.

When nothing matches exactly, the finder suggests comparable products we do carry and links to them. If you want something specific that is not listed, contact us. As a small family-owned shop, we can look into special orders.

Yes. It can answer common shop questions such as how FFL transfers work, what they cost and how shipping works, using the information on this site. Firearms ship to a licensed FFL dealer, and we ship to the lower 48 states. For legal questions about what you can buy or own where you live, check your local laws or ask us directly, because the AI is a shopping aid and not legal advice.

No. It only helps you find and compare products. You still check out on the product page like any other order, and a firearm must be shipped to a licensed FFL dealer where you complete the background check. You can use BT Gun Company in Rubicon, Wisconsin as your receiving dealer: see our FFL transfer page for pricing and steps.
