We are a family-owned, licensed FFL dealer based in Rubicon, offering access to rifles, shotguns, handguns, ammunition, tactical equipment and accessories sourced from major national distributors.

FFL Transfer Pricing

Schedule an appointment with BT Gun Company for firearm transfers at the following rates:

• Long gun or lower receiver: $25
• Handgun: $35, including the Wisconsin state fee
• Handgun and long gun together: $35 when processed on one background check
• Each additional firearm: $5 on the same background check

Transfer fees are waived when you purchase a new firearm directly from BT Gun Company and pick it up in person.

Bring a valid Wisconsin ID showing your current address. Handgun buyers must be at least 21 and complete a Wisconsin DOJ background check. Long gun buyers must be at least 18 and complete a NICS background check. There is no waiting period when approval is instant.

Local Firearm Services by Appointment

In addition to transfers, BT Gun Company provides gun cleaning, bore sighting, custom firearm builds and firearm consignment. Consignment means we sell your firearm on your behalf. Light gunsmithing repairs are available for most rifles, handguns and shotguns. We do not offer rebluing or restoration.

Shipping a Purchase to BT Gun Company

To have a firearm sent to us for a local transfer, provide the seller with a copy of our FFL. Then email [email protected] or call (262) 457-9048 to schedule an appointment. We will call you when the firearm arrives.

Ordering From Our Online Catalog

Federal law requires firearms purchased online to ship to an FFL dealer rather than directly to your home. Choose a local dealer during checkout, use our FFL lookup, or ask your dealer to email their license to [email protected]. We confirm the transfer and ship the firearm to that dealer for pickup. Orders typically ship within 1–3 business days after payment and required FFL documentation are received.
