As an extruded propellant Hodgdon Extreme H4198 Rifle Powder has become a popular choice . Since the powder was first launched it has gone through a few changes but without compromising on the all-important fast burn rate.
One change involved the kernels being shortened which in turn improved the ease and accuracy of metering. In addition elements were added to the powder thereby making it insensitive to both cold and hot weather conditions. For .222 Remington 7.62×39 and .444 Marlin cartridges this is one tough powder.

Shipping method is at BT Gun Company’s discretion; ammunition and oversized accessories are charged at actual shipping cost. We do not ship to Hawaii or Alaska.
FIREARM TRANSFERS
- Firearms must ship to a licensed FFL dealer of your choosing — confirm with them first that they can accept the transfer.
- Your receiving FFL will need to email their license to [email protected] before we can ship.
- Inspect your firearm at your FFL’s location before signing ATF Form 4473 — once signed, the firearm is considered accepted.
