Lyman Gas Checks come in a wide variety of sizes to accommodate all of the most popular cartridge case calibers from .22 all the way up to .45 caliber. These gas checks come in the form of gilded metal cups that fit into the base of cast bullets in order to protect them from hot powder gases.
Not only do these Lyman gas checks protect cast bullets from hot powder gases but they also help to permit a higher velocity. These gas checks are easy to seat during sizing of your bullet cases and they have a crimp-on design. Lyman gas checks come in a package of 1000 and are available in 10 caliber-specific sizes.

Orders typically ship within 1–3 business days (Monday–Friday) after payment and all required documentation are received. Time to arrival after shipment depends on the carrier. Shipping method is at BT Gun Company’s discretion; ammunition and oversized accessories are charged at actual shipping cost. We do not ship to Hawaii or Alaska.
FIREARM TRANSFERS
- Firearms must ship to a licensed FFL dealer of your choosing — confirm with them first that they can accept the transfer.
- Your receiving FFL will need to email their license to [email protected] before we can ship.
- Inspect your firearm at your FFL’s location before signing ATF Form 4473 — once signed, the firearm is considered accepted.
