The Tall Timber Gabriel is Primos’ premium turkey box call with double thumbholes for easy, perfect clucks and cuts. Named after Charles Whittington’s 1971 book about turkey hunting.

The Tall Timber Gabriel is our Premium Box Call which features double thumbholes on the box to allow easy and perfect clucks and cuts. The name is derived from a book written by Will’s good friend Charles Whittington. Mr. Whittington wrote about his Turkey Hunting exploits in 1971 in a book entitled Tall Timber Gabriels. He affectionately called a gobbler Old Gabriel after an angel. Hence Tall Timber Gabriels because gobblers sing each spring from their tall timber perch sending out their love song for all to hear.
We have put all that we know and cherish about the box call as an instrument into this call: the choice of woods the curves of the striking surfaces the shape and cutouts of the sideboards as well as the finish to give you the finest instrument in reproducing the sounds that Old Gabriel so badly wants to hear.

Orders typically ship within 1–3 business days (Monday–Friday) after payment and all required documentation are received. Time to arrival after shipment depends on the carrier. Shipping method is at BT Gun Company’s discretion; ammunition and oversized accessories are charged at actual shipping cost. We do not ship to Hawaii or Alaska.
FIREARM TRANSFERS
- Firearms must ship to a licensed FFL dealer of your choosing — confirm with them first that they can accept the transfer.
- Your receiving FFL will need to email their license to [email protected] before we can ship.
- Inspect your firearm at your FFL’s location before signing ATF Form 4473 — once signed, the firearm is considered accepted.
