Each box holds 25 empty capsules along with the matching base plugs so you supply the shot and the case and finish with a load tuned to the pest task in front of you. The real appeal is control because you set the shot size and the velocity instead of accepting whatever a factory box decided for you.

Building a round is straightforward with the reloading gear you already own. Fill an empty capsule with your chosen shot size snap the base wad into place then seat the finished capsule in a sized .45 Colt case then load it like a conventional bullet. The capsule measures .452″” in diameter and matches the .45 Colt (45 cal) reloading caliber so it drops right into your normal bench routine. Speer publishes load data for these capsules in the Speer Reloading Manual which keeps your charge weights and pressures where they belong.

The shot capsule family reaches beyond a single handgun.
