Although there are many different types of lubricants used for reloading and casting Lyman Alox Bullet Lubricant is high quality and backed by a solid company guarantee. This lubricant is sold in a hollow stick form and designed to work with the Lyman 4500 sizer/lubricator with or without heating element although it works best when heated.
However this lubricant is also interchangeable with a few other sizer/lubricators that accept 1×4-inch tube sticks including the RCBS Lube-a-Matic 2. The material is 50 percent alox and 50 percent beeswax with a melting point of 130 degrees Fahrenheit.

Orders typically ship within 1–3 business days (Monday–Friday) after payment and all required documentation are received. Time to arrival after shipment depends on the carrier. Shipping method is at BT Gun Company’s discretion; ammunition and oversized accessories are charged at actual shipping cost. We do not ship to Hawaii or Alaska.
FIREARM TRANSFERS
- Firearms must ship to a licensed FFL dealer of your choosing — confirm with them first that they can accept the transfer.
- Your receiving FFL will need to email their license to [email protected] before we can ship.
- Inspect your firearm at your FFL’s location before signing ATF Form 4473 — once signed, the firearm is considered accepted.
