BT Gun Company is a family-owned, licensed FFL dealer based in Rubicon, Wisconsin, serving customers throughout the Waukesha County area. Local firearm transfers and other services are available by appointment only. Customers can also shop an online catalog of rifles, shotguns, handguns, tactical equipment, ammunition and accessories sourced from major national distributors. Orders ship nationwide except to Hawaii and Alaska.

FFL Transfer Pricing

Have a firearm from another seller shipped to BT Gun Company for a local transfer. Transfer fees are:

• Long gun or lower receiver: $25
• Handgun: $35, including the Wisconsin state fee
• Handgun and long gun together: $35 on one background check
• Each additional firearm: $5 on the same background check

Transfer fees are waived when you purchase a new firearm directly from BT Gun Company and pick it up in person. To arrange an incoming transfer, send the seller a copy of BT Gun Company’s FFL, then email [email protected] or call (262) 457-9048 to schedule an appointment. BT Gun Company will call when the firearm arrives.

Bring a valid Wisconsin ID showing your current address. Handgun buyers must be at least 21 and complete a Wisconsin DOJ background check. Long-gun buyers must be at least 18 and complete a NICS background check. There is no waiting period on instant approvals.

Local Firearm Services by Appointment

In addition to transfers, BT Gun Company provides gun cleaning, bore sighting, custom firearm builds and firearm consignment for customers who want the company to sell a firearm on their behalf. Gunsmithing includes light repairs on most rifles, handguns and shotguns. Rebluing and restoration are not offered.

Buy Firearms Online or Arrange a Local Transfer

Use the online catalog to browse available inventory, or describe what you need in plain English with the AI Gun Finder tool, which searches live inventory. Special orders are also available for customers who are unsure what they need or cannot find a particular item.

Federal law requires firearms purchased online to ship to an FFL dealer rather than to the buyer’s home. At checkout, select a local FFL dealer or use the site’s FFL lookup. Your chosen dealer may also email its license to [email protected]. BT Gun Company confirms the transfer and ships the firearm to that dealer for pickup and the required background check. Orders typically ship within 1–3 business days after payment and required FFL documentation are received.
