The Rio Star Team EVO is a 12 gauge target load built for high-volume clay shooting and competition. Each 2-3/4″ shell carries 1 ounce of 8 lead shot and leaves the barrel at 1280 fps so you get the fast dense patterns that break clays at trap skeet and sporting clays distances. Rio designed this shell around consistent shot patterns and reduced recoil which keeps your point of aim steady through a full round and into the next.
This load runs a Max dram equivalent a 209 primer and a high brass head on a plastic case a combination that supports clean ignition and smooth cycling shot after shot. This 2-3/4″ load is intended for compatible 12 gauge clay guns. The 1 ounce payload of 8 shot gives you a wide even pattern that favors close and mid-range targets which is where most trap and skeet presentations sit.
The Star Team EVO is engineered for reduced barrel fouling and reliable feeding during long practice sessions two things that matter when you are shooting hundreds of rounds a day. The 1280 fps velocity puts the pattern on target quickly giving you a little more room on fast crossers and outgoing birds. A full case contains 10 boxes for 250 rounds total which is convenient for high-volume clay shooting.
