The AGM NVG-40 is a dual-channel night vision system. The NVG is made of a compact composite housing for durability and features advanced multi-coated optics. The device can be outfitted with either a Gen 2+ or Gen 3 high-performance image intensifier tube (IIT). The bright light cut-off feature ensures that the high-quality photocathode tube is protected. The NVG is also equipped with Manual Gain Control which adjusts the image brightness providing the highest possible image quality even in changing light conditions. Operating from a single AA alkaline battery or CR123A battery the NVG can run up to 20 hours. Also equipped with an integral infrared illuminator for reading in the dark.
NVG Interface Shoe (preinstalled) is used for installing the NVG to a either standard dovetail type headset and helmet mount.
Bayonet/Horn Interface Shoe (included) is used for installing the NVG to a either standard bayonet/horn type headset and helmet mount.
NVG Interface Shoe with Connector (optional) is used for installing the NVG-40/NVG-50 to either standard dovetail type headset and helmet mounts and connecting the Battery Pack.
Mini-Rail Interface Shoe is used for installing the NVG to the mounts with mini-rail interface. Mini-Rail Interface Shoe is included to the optional AGM Goggle Kit W and AGM Helmet Mount

Orders typically ship within 1–3 business days (Monday–Friday) after payment and all required documentation are received. Time to arrival after shipment depends on the carrier. Shipping method is at BT Gun Company’s discretion; ammunition and oversized accessories are charged at actual shipping cost. We do not ship to Hawaii or Alaska.
FIREARM TRANSFERS
- Firearms must ship to a licensed FFL dealer of your choosing — confirm with them first that they can accept the transfer.
- Your receiving FFL will need to email their license to [email protected] before we can ship.
- Inspect your firearm at your FFL’s location before signing ATF Form 4473 — once signed, the firearm is considered accepted.
